As I go over this text, I wonder where I got the courage to read it back then, considering the reprisals I have had to deal with.

I now publish it in my web, because Spain’s historical evolution faces a critical dilemma, that this text can help understand and solve:

The current economic crisis forces authorities to eliminate or reduce subsidies, sponsorships, official appointments and employment, and other State-granted privileges to cultural agents and industries. If you take them away, however, you can no longer expect to receive the ideological privileges that you received in exchange for them.

If you pay the musicians, then you can make them play the tunes you like, the way you like them, even if this makes them betray their social function or their personal aspirations. What doesn’t make sense, is to expect them to play it your way –precisely the way the general audience dislikes and won’t pay for–, in exchange for nothing.

It is not that they lack loyalty towards the Governmental agenda. In our modern society –in which only money can be used to exchange goods and pay taxes, everything’s got a price. Even mere survival, happens to be too expensive for anyone with no currency in his/her pocket; and sadly enough, musicians –like every other cultural agent and live citizen, need to eat.

[258,7,692
177,427,428,429,430,398,431,432,58,433,434,435,436,437,438,439,440,441,442,443,444,445,446,174,447,448,449,450,451,452,453,454,455,456,457,458,459,460,461,475,462,463,464,465,19,466,467,468,469,470,471,472,473,474,476,477,478,479,480,481,482,483,484,485,486,487,488,489,490,491,492,493,494,495,496,497,498,499,500,501,502,503,504,505,506,507,168,508,509,510,511,512,513,514,515,181,516,517,518,519,520,521,522,523,524,525,526,527,528,529,530,531,532,193,533,534,535,536,537,538,539,540,541,542,189,543,544,545,546,547,548,549,550,551,552,188,553,554,555,556,557,558,559,560,561,562,563,564,565,566,567,568,132,569,570,571,572,573,574,575,576,577,578,183,579,195,580,581,582,583,108,584,585,586,268,587,588,589,590,591,592,593,594,595,596,597,598,599,600,190,601,602,603,604,605,606,607,608,609,610,611,612,613,614,615,616,617,618,619,620,621,622,623,624,625,626,627,628,629,630,631,632,633,634,635,636,637,638,639,640,641,642,643,644,645,646,647,648,293,650,649,651,652,653,654,655,656,657,658,659,32,660,661,54,662,663,30,664,55,665,666,667,668,669,670,176,671,672,673,674,675,676,677,678,679,680,681,682,683,684,685,686,687,187
post-2951","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-especializados","category-utiles-para-creadores","category-utiles-para","tag-a-favor-de-lo-mejor","tag-aaron-silva","tag-acompaname","tag-actividad-legal","tag-agencia-de-publicidad","tag-agenda-de-contenidos","tag-albert-bandura","tag-alcoholicos-anonimos","tag-alfabetizacion","tag-alguna-vez-tendremos-alas","tag-ana-lilia-villarreal-caceres","tag-ana-maria-ortega","tag-andrea-celeste","tag-angel","tag-angelica-maria","tag-anne-rubenstein","tag-anticoncepcion","tag-antropocentrismo","tag-anunciante","tag-apoyo-popular","tag-arturo-fernandez","tag-asociacion-mundial-de-mujeres-periodistas-y-escritoras","tag-audiencia","tag-aurelio-gonzalez","tag-benito-juarez","tag-bienestar-economico","tag-boicot-civil","tag-broker","tag-cadenas-de-amargura","tag-cafe-oro","tag-caminemos","tag-canal-13","tag-canal-2","tag-canal-4","tag-canal-5","tag-canal-7","tag-canal-8","tag-canal-9","tag-capitalismo","tag-censor","tag-censura","tag-centro","tag-cerro-de-las-campanas","tag-chispita","tag-cine","tag-ciudad-de-mexico","tag-claudia-padilla","tag-colgate","tag-colgate-palmolive","tag-comision-calificadora-de-revistas-ilustradas","tag-comision-nacional-de-derechos-humanos","tag-comunidades-indigenas","tag-conformismo","tag-conservador","tag-contenidos-amarillistas","tag-contenidos-sensacionalistas","tag-contrarevolucion","tag-control-del-contenido","tag-corralito-argentino","tag-crisis","tag-cristina","tag-cuna-de-lobos","tag-de-la-madrid","tag-demasiado-corazon","tag-democracia","tag-departamento-de-supervision-literaria","tag-deporte","tag-derecha","tag-desnudez","tag-discrecionalidad","tag-discurso-de-genero","tag-discurso-moral","tag-discurso-publico","tag-discurso-religioso","tag-divorcio-entre-los-medios-y-la-sociedad","tag-echeverria","tag-economia-de-mercado","tag-el-cielo-es-para-todos","tag-el-heraldo-de-mexico","tag-el-pecado-de-oyuki","tag-el-premio-mayor","tag-el-rincon-de-los-prodigios","tag-ellos-nuestros-hombres","tag-emilio-gomez-muriel","tag-emilio-larrosa","tag-en-carne-propia","tag-enrica-schettini-piazza","tag-entre-la-vida-y-la-muerte","tag-eric-zolov","tag-error-de-diciembre-de-1994","tag-escision-de-la-audiencia-mayoritaria","tag-escolarizacion","tag-escuela-religiosa","tag-esmeralda","tag-espanol","tag-eugenia-revueltas","tag-evolucion-historica","tag-exito","tag-extraterrestre","tag-ezln","tag-federacion-mexicana-de-mujeres-universitarias","tag-feminismo","tag-fernanda-villeli","tag-final-feliz","tag-fracaso","tag-francisco-javier-torres-aguilera","tag-fray-escoba","tag-fred-zinneman","tag-funcion-social-de-la-literatura","tag-futbol-soquer","tag-genoveva-martinez-m","tag-gerardo-antonio-magana","tag-gil-joseph","tag-gloria-lopez-de-cruz","tag-gobierno-revolucionario","tag-gustavo-salas","tag-hada-madrina","tag-heather-levi","tag-hemeroteca-nacional-de-mexico","tag-hermana-rosario","tag-historia-oficial","tag-historieta-seriada-en-sepia","tag-huichol","tag-humor","tag-ibope","tag-ideas-valores-y-creencias","tag-ideas-valores-y-cultura","tag-ideologia","tag-ignacio-duran","tag-ignacio-lebrija","tag-indice-de-fertilidad","tag-indice-de-natalidad","tag-industrializacion","tag-influencia-de-los-medios","tag-inmaculada","tag-inra","tag-interes-social","tag-international-institute-of-communications","tag-izquierda","tag-jaime-litvak","tag-jean-meyer","tag-jorge-mercader","tag-jose-antonio-pons-valenzuela","tag-juegos-olimpicos","tag-la-cristiada","tag-la-fiera","tag-lazos-de-amor","tag-lengua-nacional","tag-lenguaje-inapropiado","tag-liberal","tag-libertad","tag-liber
